Libre Graphics Day is a one day miniconf at linux.conf.au covering the use and development of Free and Open Source Software tools such as Blender, Inkscape, and GIMP, as well as graphics languages and libraries such as Ghostscript, SVG and Cairo.

Bringing some of the fun and flavour of the successful Libre Graphics Meetings held in the northern hemisphere south for the first time, Libre Graphics Day at LCA2010 is a great opportunity for users and developers to get together to learn from each other and work together to improve and extend.

linux.conf.au has 3 ticket types.

  • Students NZ$249
    If you can show a current student card at registration, then you're eligible for the Student ticket.
  • Hobbyists NZ$499
    If you're unemployed, or can't legitimately claim the conference as a tax deduction, you're eligible for the hobbyist rate.
  • Professionals NZ$999
    If your employer is paying, or you're attending LCA2010 as professional development and you can claim a tax deduction, then you are eligible for the professional ticket, and all the extra perks that entails.
